Both polarizer and red filter resulted in increased contrast between the sky and buildings.
However, since the red filter used here was a relatively dense filter, it caused deeper darkening of sky than the polarizer.
Additionally, it brightened the shade of the buildings which were flesh-colored, further increasing the contrast between them and the sky.
On the other hand, the use of polarizer decreased the amount of reflections in water.
