All we know of their subsequent political condition is that after the [[Social war]] the folk of [[Cliternia]] and [[Nersae]] appear united in a ''[[res publica]] Aequiculorum'', which was a [[municipium]] of the ordinary type (C.I.L. ix. p. 388).
