καθημερινές κοινωνικές δραστηριότητες.οκ?Have you ever been to a really great holiday resort? My answer is yes!!! I went to Hawaii, in Honolulu!!!! As you know Hawaii is in the Pacific Ocean and it is a state from United States. I decided to go there, because my uncle Ku’ulei is living there and for my fun!!! When I go there Hawaiian people were welcomed me very politely and they gave me a necklace with flowers and my uncle was helped me with my hotel which was called “Hokele ihu ahi 'ai honua” that means “Hotel is like a Volcano”!! When I arrived here the hotel was very pretty and giant like Empire State Building in New York! It has a garden with tortoises and flowers and a swim pool with roses! The rooms were fantastic and dreaming. The hotel has one negative and one positive. The negative is that this holiday will keep for only a week and the other once is that my hotel is nearby the beach!! The room looks likes the paradise in the clouds! Let me tell you about the breakfast here. To be exactly I’ll tell you that every morning they served me sweet potatoes, because a native old man was told me that sweet potatoes are gift from a god who name is Kaha’i. Kaha’i ,told me, is a Polynesian demigod who brings to Polynesian and Hawaiian humanity vegetables which are sacred! That sounds very crazy, but it is their religion and mythology. Anyway after four hours resting we went to the beach. We sat four hours, because the food wasn’t finished its digestion. The beach was super clean, so, I make an example here. Do you compare Greece’s beaches with Hawaii’s beaches? I think that the answer is evident. No!!!!! The beach has gold sand with cute little crabs and luckily it hasn’t seaweed. I hate seaweeds in the sea. Also it hasn’t got and fishes! I hate fishes in the beach, too. Especially the big fishes! I don’t want to think it! The only living creatures in the sea were two cute dolphins. Our tour guide told as that these two dolphins are gift from Kaha’i, remember? I heard that dolphins were in the “Hawaiian Zoo” and some other animals!!!! That sounds fantastic!! So, I took a van and I went to the Zoo. The street were tired, but if you were looked the nature around you from the window you would see the nature personalized!! When I arrived I said thanks for in Hawaiian language, La Ho'omaika'i Apau, to the tour guide for his kindness to help me to orient with Honolulu!! I got in the zoo, but I didn’t understand anything with that language, so I called again the tour guide and he worked again! The first word I saw it was “Kahua ho’iki’Ike holoholona” and he told me that it means Hawaiian Zoo!! For your information if you go to the Hawaiian Zoo you will see and they will tell you that the animals are all native. There aren’t foreign animals! The first animal that I saw it was a Āmaui. It looks like a junction sparrow and jay equals Āmaui! I noticed that the Zoo has only birds! So, I made another example, again. Hawaii is filling with birds! But in the end of the Zoo I saw a dog, it was Poi Dog breed. When I got out from there I went to the “Hokele ihu ahi 'ai honua”, my hotel! Unfortunately that was my penultimate day in that paradise island. I had a nap and when I woke up it was 10:00 about. I thought that I had to go out in a restaurant, to taste the Hawaiian cuisine. I explored my map and I found out that my restaurant is in the other bank of the Honolulu. I didn’t hesitate so I took the bus and in half hour I got there. I had a sit here and a chose from the menu:
• Spam musubi (made from spam, rice and seaweed)
• Ahi- Poke (made from fish, yellow tuna, green onions, chili peppers, sea salt, soy sauce, sesame oil, roasted kukui nut (candlenut), and limukohuseaweed, shown here served on a bed of red cabbage)
• Loco Moco (with fried saiminand and macaroni salad)
• Mai Tai (white rum, liqueur, Orgeat syrup, candy syrup, lime juice, dark rum)
When they brought all that I was so hungry that I ate that very quickly. After I had a stomachache, but when I achieved in my hotel it passed, luckily. When the sun emerged, namely the next morning, I gathered my briefcases and I went to the Honolulu’s airport. In the airport I bought some souvenirs like hula dolls, island surfboards, ornaments made from sell, Hawaiian T-shirts, pottery, models of the town or houses or fridge magnets. A sign said “ Honolulu Kahua ho'olulu mokulele” and I didn’t understand it, so I asked a native person and told me that the sign is wrote in Hawaiian language and in English means “Honolulu’s Airport”! I felt so embarrassed!!! I took the airplane and I returned in my home. I wish to go someone of you in that paradise island. So…Try it!!!!!!!!
