Πέρα από τους εν λόγω κανονισμούς, στην Ελλάδα δεν υφίσταται κάποιο αυστηρό νομοθετικό πλαίσιο ρύθμισης των τεχνολογιών πληροφοριών και επικοινωνίας, ούτε κάποιο επαγγελματικό επιμελητήριο ειδικά για τους επαγγελματίες του κλάδου.
