Η '''Ουρντού γλώσσα''' (ʊər|d|uː, اُردُو, ''Urdū'', [[ΔΦΑ]] ʊrd̪u) ή ακριβέστερα '''σύγχρονη τυποποιημένη Ουρντού''', είναι [[τυποποιημένη γλώσσα]] καταχώριση της [[Χιντουστάνι γλώσσα|Χιντουστάνι]]. Η Ουρντού συνδέεται ιστορικά με τους [[Μουσουλμάνος|μουσουλμάνους]] της περιοχής του [[Ινδουστάν]]. Είναι εθνική γλώσσα και ''[[lingua franca]]'' του Πακιστάν και [[επίσημη γλώσσα]] έξι ινδικών πολιτειών και μία από τις [[επίσημη γλώσσα|επίσημες γλώσσες]] στο [[Σύνταγμα της Ινδίας]]. Εκτός από το εξειδικευμένο λεξιλόγιό της η Ουρντού είναι αμοιβαία κατανοητή με την [[Χίντι γλώσσα|Χίντι]], που είναι συνδεδεμένη με την [[ινδουισμός|ινδουιστική]] κοινότητα.
