Την Παρασκευή 11 Οκτωβρίου 2013 το κτήριο που λειτουργούσε το ALTER σφραγίστηκε. Από τις αναλογικές συχνότητές του μάλλον θα εκπέμψει το [[Αρτ|ΑΡΤ]], ενώ από τις ψηφιακές συχνότητές του, θα εκπέμπονται τα προγράμματα ιδιωτικών καναλιών σε υψηλή ανάλυση. Ωστόσο, τίποτα δεν είναι σίγουρο ακόμα, αν και πριν από λίγους μήνες ο Γιώργος Κουρής βρήκε επενδυτή που θα βάλει 5.000.000 ευρώ στο ALTER για να επαναλειτουργήσει.
