The '''Turkish Stars''' ([[Turkish language|Turkish]]: '''Türk Yıldızları''') are the [[aerobatic]] demonstration team of the [[Turkish Air Force]] and the official national aerobatic team of [[Turkey]]. The team was formed on [[November 7]], [[1992]], was officially named the Turkish Stars on [[January 11]], [[1993]]. The team flies 8 [[Northrop]] [[F-5 Freedom Fighter]]s, making them one of the few teams to fly supersonic aircraft aerobatically.

 

The team's heavily accented and generally humorous announcer often draws much attention to the team.
