The '''Turkish Stars''' ([[Turkish language|Turkish]]: '''Türk Yıldızları''') are the [[aerobatics|aerobatic demonstration]] team of the [[Turkish Air Force]] and the official national [[aerobatics]] team of [[Turkey]].
The team was formed on [[November 7]], [[1992]] and was officially named the Turkish Stars on [[January 11]], [[1993]]. Turkish Stars fly with 8 [[Northrop]] [[F-5 Freedom Fighter]]s, making them one of the few national aerobatics teams to fly [[supersonic]] aircraft and the only one worldwide with 8 supersonic [[jet]]s.
The team's heavily accented and generally humorous announcer draws much attention during [[air show]]s.
