: Did you know that only 14,86% of bios in Italian Wikipedia are about women? WikiDonne is a group of users whose purpose is to improve the coverage of women's topics in Wikipedia, by creating lists of articles and organizing events and partnerships. Men are always welcome, our intention is not to turn Wikipedia into Womenpedia but to make everyone aware of the reality of gender gap.

[http://www.wikiloveswomen.org Wiki Loves Women] activates, trains, and supports individuals and civil society organisations as they contribute vital information to Wikipedia. It intends to put right two of Wikipedia’s worst contributor and knowledge shortcomings: women and Africa.<br>
Throughout 2016 and 2017, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut, the project has worked to encourage the contribution of existing information from Civil Society Organisations and Gender-equality groups to Wikipedia in four countries across Africa: Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Nigeria. <br>In addition, the project encourages the activation and support of new and existing editors (both female and gender-sensitised male Wikipedians) in the focus countries … and globally, through targeted content creation and expansion challenges. The online global challenges has helped to make the issues visible to the global Wikimedia community. <br>
