Δεν έχετε τίποτα να χάσετε, παρά μόνο τις αλυσίδες σας!'', που όμως η τελευταία δεν υπάρχει γραμμένη σε κάποια επίσημη μετάφραση.<ref name="Communist Manifesto Chapter IV"/>{{Efn|Συγκεκριμένα, η τελευταία παράγραφος του ''Μανιφέστου'' μεταφρασμένη στα αγγλικά από τον Samuel Moore έχει ως εξής: «The Communists disdain to conceal their views and aims. WORKING MEN OF ALL COUNTRIES, UNITE!» Στα Ελληνικά οι τελευταίες τρεις προτάσεις αποδίδονται ως: «Οι προλετάριοι δεν έχουν να χάσουν τίποτα παρά μόνο τις αλυσίδες τους. Έχουν ένα κόσμο να κερδίσουν. Εργάτες όλους του κόσμου, ενωθείτε!».
