Γραμμή 1:
In Greek mythology Korkyra was the daughter of Asopos river and nymph Metope.
According to myth Poseidon fell in love with the beautiful nymph Korkyra, kidnapped her and brought her to a hitherto unnamed island and offered her name to the place: Korkyra or modern Kerkyra (Corfu). Together they had a child Phaiax after whom the inhabitants of the island were named: Phaiakes, that was then transliterated to Phaeacians that originates from Latin.
