She was the partner of [[Mars (mythology)|Mars]] in ancient cult practices, and was sometimes identified with the goddess [[Enyo|Bellona]], and occasionally with the goddess [[Minerva]]. Spoils taken from enemies were sometimes dedicated to Nerio by the Romans.
