Depicted person: Axel Oxenstierna af Södermöre

Svenska: Oljemålning på duk, rentoilerad.
Bröstbild, 3/4 fas höger. Axel Oxenstierna är svartklädd med vit krage och en tättsittande liten svart huvudbonad. Mörk bakgrund.
A tergo: påskrift på nya duken "LPC" (ev. D) under grevekrona. "Axel Comte d'Oxenstierna // Chancelier de Suède // Né le 16 Juin 1583 // Mort le 28 Août 1654". Nedtill "L 18", på h. sida "18".
Fanér med stämpel krönt IPD på spännramens tvärslå, även klistrad papperslapp med påskrift: "Ce tableau portrait l'inscription ci-apres: "Extrait de la maison nationale // du Pont de la Montagne, alias StCloud // ....". På ramen papperslapp med tryck i blått "Christina Queen of Sweden // XI Exhibition of theCouncil of Europe // Nationalmuseum STOCKHOLM 1966 // 448 D. Beck, Axel Oxenstierna, Stocholm, Ryttmästare Å. Pauli".
David Beck, holländsk porträttmålare, var verksam i Sverige 1647-1651 som drottning Kristinas hovmålare. Målningen tillhörde drottningen och hon tog den med sig till Rom.
