Ο '''Άκις''' ''(Acis)'' ήταν ποτάμια θεότητα της [[Ρωμαϊκή μυθολογία|ρωμαϊκής μυθολογίας]].
Σύμφωνα με τον [[Οβίδιος|Οβίδιο]] ήταν το πνεύμα του ενός αρχαίου ποταμού που πήγαζε από την [[Αίτνα]] στην [[Σικελία]]. Ήταν γιος του [[Φαύνος|Φαύνου]] και της νύμφης Symaethis, κόρης του ποταμού Symaethus. Ο Άκις αγαπούσε την θαλάσσια νύμφη [[Γαλάτεια]] , αλλά τον σκότωσε ο [[Κύκλωπες|Κύκλωπας]] [[Πολύφημος]] .
Τον μύθο του [[Άκις και Γαλάτεια|Άκι και της Γαλάτειας]] τον αναφέρει μόνο ο Οβίδιος και ίσως είναι δική του εφεύρεση . Στην αναγέννηση πολλοί ζωγράφοι χρησιμοποίησαν για θέμα τους την ιστορία , ενώ ο Χέντελ έγραψε και [[Όπερα|όπερα]].
