==Criticism==
Hazlitt's failure to acknowledge and address the conditions under which is market system would be able to operate, and oversimplification of opposite view points has been criticized.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://delong.typepad.com/sdj/2005/04/economics_in_on.html}}</ref> While the basic principle of looking at the long term effects on all stake holders is sound, Hazlitt's oversimplification makes this book dangerous to those who don't already have a good grasp of economics.
