Το [[Μπρονξ]] (Bronx) έχει 1.470.000 κατοίκους και έκταση 108 τ.χ. Είναι το μοναδικό τμήμα της Νέας Υόρκης που βρίσκεται στην ενδοχώρα και όχι πάνω σε νησί. Ονομάστηκε έτσι από έναν Σουηδό μετανάστη, ο οποίος ήταν ο πρώτος άποικος σε αυτή την περιοχή.
