Η χρονολογία και η ακολουθία των Βασιλέων των Χετταίων στηρίζεται σε θραύσματα προερχόμενα από περισσότερες από 3.500 επιγραφές που βρέθηκαν στην Χαττούσα. Οι ημερομηνίες δίνονται κατά προσέγγιση με βάση την Μέση Χρονολόγηση που είναι η περισσότερο αποδεκτή σε σύγκριση με πηγές από μεγάλα γειτονικά βασίλεια όπως της Αιγύπτου.^[1]
