Βριγίτη της Σουηδίας

Η Βριγίτη της Σουηδίας (1303 - 23 Ιουλίου 1373, γεννημένη ως Birgitta Birgersdotter, γνωστή και ως Αγία Βριγίτη , σουδ.: heliga Birgitta) ήταν αγία και ιδρύτρια των Bridgettines, μιας θρησκευτικής τάξης για καλόγριες και καλόγερους, μετά τον θάνατο του επί είκοσι χρόνια συζύγου της. Έξω από τα σύνορα της Σουηδίας, ήταν γνωστή ως Princess of Nericia και μητέρα της Αγία Αικατερίνης της Σουηδής. (Παρότι ονομαζόταν Βριγίτη της Σουηδίας, δεν ήταν μέλος της σουηδικής αριστοκρατίας.)
