Μπρούκλιν

Το Μπρούκλιν (αγγλικά: Brooklyn, New York) είναι ένα από τα πέντε γεωγραφικά διαμερίσματα της Νέας Υόρκης και έχει πληθυσμό 2.736.074 κατοίκους σύμφωνα με την απογραφή του 2020. Έχοντας έκταση 205 τετραγωνικών χιλιομέτρων και πυκνότητα πληθυσμού 14.417,0 κατοίκους ανά τετραγωνικό χιλιόμετρο, είναι η δεύτερη πιο πυκνοκατοικημένη κομητεία στις ΗΠΑ, πίσω μόνο από το Μανχάταν, και είναι η κομητεία με τον δεύτερο μεγαλύτερο πληθυσμό στις ΗΠΑ, καθώς επίσης και το δεύτερο μεγαλύτερο διαμέρισμα στην περιοχή. Από το 1896, το Μπρούκλιν έχει τα ίδια όρια με τη κομητεία Κινγκς, η οποία είναι σήμερα η πιο πυκνοκατοικημένη κομητεία στην πολιτεία της Νέας Υόρκης και η δεύτερη πιο πυκνοκατοικημένη κομητεία στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες, μετά τη Κομητεία Νέας Υόρκης (Μανχάταν). Το Μπρούκλιν βρίσκεται στην δυτική πλευρά του Λονγκ Άιλαντ.
