Φρεντ Ντερστ

Ο Φρεντ Ντερστ (William Frederick "Fred" Durst, 20 Αυγούστου 1970) είναι Αμερικανός τραγουδιστής, ηθοποιός, στιχουργός και σκηνοθέτης. Η Καταγωγή του είναι από την Γκαστόνια της Βόρειας Καρολίνας αλλά από τα εφηβικά του χρόνια, ζει στο Τζάκσονβιλλ της πολιτείας, Φλόριντα. Ο Φρεντ Ντερστ είναι γνωστός ως ο "αρχηγός" του μουσικού συγκροτήματος Limp Bizkit. Έχει συνεργαστεί με πολλά γνωστά συγκροτήματα και πολλούς γνωστούς καλλιτέχνες.

Ο Ντερστ γεννήθηκε στις 20 Αυγούστου του 1970. Την στρατιωτική του θητεία την έκανε στο Τζάκσονβιλλ σε ηλικία 18-19 χρονών. Ύστερα αποφάσισε να ξαναπάει στο Τζάκσονβιλλ για να γίνει σχεδιαστής τατουάζ. Επίσης έχει ασχοληθεί με την μουσική, η οποία τον "κέρδισε" περισσότερο. Άρχισε να ασχολείται με την ραπ από το 1982, επίσης από το 1983 ήταν πανκ ρόκερ από το 1983 και DJ από το 1985.

Ο Φρεντ μαζί με τους Γουές Μπόρλαντ, Σαμ Ρίβερς, Τζον Ότο και Ντι Τζέι Λίθαλ σχημάτισαν τους Limp Bizkit. Το συγκρότημα σχηματίστηκε το 1995 με έδρα το Τζάκσονβιλλ της Φλόριντα. Οι Limp Bizkit έβγαλαν το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ, το 1997 με τίτλο "Three Dollar Bill, Yall$".

Μάλιστα, ως πρώτο hit του πρώτου τους άλμπουμ ήταν το "Faith" του Τζορτζ Μάικλ. Επίσης, άλλα τραγούδια που άφησαν εποχή στο συγκρότημα ήταν το "My Way", "My Generation", "Rollin", "Re-Arranged", "Break Stuff", "Take a Look Around"& "Nookie".

Οι Limp Bizkit ήταν αυτοί που "γέννησαν" μαζί με τους KoRn, το Nu Metal.
